Nonsense on a Bus!

Never mind that just four years ago he ran for US Senate as “not just another election day Democrat” and forget that he ran for re-election as State Treasurer a mere seven months ago on the slogan that “the job is not done” John Neely Kennedy, political opportunist extraordinaire, will officially kick off his third campaign in four years as a Republican for Senate today.

And you can count on Kennedy for Whatever to be there with up to the minute reports of this daring test of political flexibility.

Marvel. . . as Kennedy attempts to shift his political ideology from liberal to conservative in one single bound.

Gaze in wonder. . . as Kennedy cuddles up to President George W. Bush who he called “cold and mean”, whose opponent he endorsed in 2004 and whose tax policy he called “nonsense on a stick.”

Stare in utter disbelief. . .as one man sheds his principles and sacrifices his character all in the name of political opportunism.

State Republican Party chairman Roger Villere says that John Kennedy “can’t run” from the questions concerning Kennedy’s sacrifice of principles and ideology.

But Chairman Villere didn’t count on John Kennedy running from these questions, in a bus!
